Paulo Sousa was speaking on the sidelines of the Forum of the National Association of Football Coaches (ANTF), in Viseu, where he participated with Artur Jorge and José Luís Mendes in the panel on “Training in a high-performance context”.
He told journalists that it was the first time he had participated in this type of initiative in Portugal, with other coaches, and being in his homeland was a reason to feel “doubly satisfied”.
With a professional career spanning years in Italy, as a player and coach, Paulo Sousa admitted that he considered living his retirement in that country, but Portugal is his home, despite “not being obsessed” with the idea of having to train in his country. Christmas.
