The police also seized the suspect’s cell phone this Wednesday.

According to the Civil Police, the investigations advanced after the arrest of the two teenage brothers, on March 4, identified as responsible for striking blows with an iron bar and pieces of wood that caused the victim’s death.

The police identified that the duo had counted on the help of a third teenager to complete the ambush that resulted in the victim being beaten to death, in addition to also participating in the physical attacks.

The Civil Police made a new representation to the Judiciary to issue a warrant for the apprehension of the third teenager and also for a home search.

With court orders in hand, police officers attended the suspect’s residence, also in Álvares Machado, and apprehended him this Wednesday. The boy will be taken to the Fundação Casa unit, in Irapuru (SP).

The investigations are still ongoing to elucidate other possible circumstances surrounding the murder, in addition to carrying out expert examinations.

The three teenagers apprehended for a period of 45 days will be responsible for committing an infraction similar to the crime of triple homicide for a base motive, linked to drug trafficking, and for using cruel means and ambushes.
