A OnePlus introduced a new headset this week. This is the Buds V, which was announced together with the Ace 3V model and like it, could also be launched on the international market under another name. Possibly, other regions will see this device called Nord Buds, while the cell phone will be called Nord 4.

To begin with, the headphone comes with a simple in-ear design. The charging case, in turn, has a shape that resembles a capsule, with two straight sides and two rounded ends. Furthermore, it has a more minimalist tone, with few details and an LED to indicate information about the case’s battery.

Furthermore, the device has 12.4 mm titanium drivers and features three sound modes: Balanced, Deep Bass and Clear & Bright. In addition to supporting Bluetooth 5.3, the headphones offer a latency of 94 ms and a Dolby Paranoramic Sound to provide a more immersive audio experience. It is also worth mentioning the IP55 certification for water and dust resistance.

In terms of battery, the OnePlus Buds V promises to deliver 8 hours of playback on a single charge, while the case helps to provide autonomy that can reach 38 hours in total. The charging system makes it possible to use it for another 5 hours with 1 hour of charge. There are also touch controls to control music playback and answer calls.

Availability and Price

The company’s new headset is available in the Chinese market for 149 yuan (R$ 102). However, interested parties have the option to pay 139 yuan (R$95) if you purchase the device together with the OnePlus Ace 3V cell phone.
