This Saturday Expensive Soul are the headliners of the 16th edition of the Alentejano Pork Fair, which runs until Sunday in Ourique to promote a “very important” segment in the economy of this municipality in the Beja district.
This Saturday will be marked by the 2nd Homemade Sausage competition, showcooking, presentations and ham tasting, among other activities that will take place throughout the day.
It is worth remembering that more than a hundred exhibitors are present at the 16th edition of the Alentejano Pork Fair, an event organized by the Chamber of Ourique, in partnership with the Alentejano Pig Breeders Association (ACPA), with “thousands of visitors until Sunday”,
Over the three days, the Alentejano Pig Fair in Ourique will also feature Alentejo singing, a livestock exhibition of the breed, children’s entertainment, street entertainment, ‘showcookings’ and ham raffles.
Alpiarça, in the district of Santarém, is the municipality invited to the event in 2024, as it shares with Ourique “a strong connection to field work and quality agricultural production”, revealed the city council in a statement.
