Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that, from now on, all physical game discs for PlayStation 5 (PS5), both exclusive and from other companies, will be manufactured in Brazil. The news comes almost four years after the launch of the console and should bring some benefits to the Brazilian market, including lower prices – as happened with Xbox 360, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 (PS4) in the past.
Sony announced that Solutions 2 GO is its main partner, a company that already produced some game discs with up to 66 GB of storage and promises to increase production for media of up to 100 GB, needed in titles such as God of War: Ragnarok.
