Did you fall there? Spotify is experiencing problems this Tuesday morning (26): streaming users complain about instabilities in the desktop application and the web version of the platform.
The Windows application displays the message “Something went wrong”, while the browser version suggests restarting the page, but this does not resolve the situation. It is not possible to play tracks or use the app’s search to browse the catalog at this time.
A website that records instabilities on digital platforms, Downdetector also showed an increase in complaints about Spotify this morning, with a peak of 483 notifications around 9 am, Brasília time.
Mobile app still works
At first, the problem on Spotify appears to only affect versions for computers and smart TVs. FreeGameGuide carried out some quick tests and did not notice any instability in the cell phone application, which loads the library and catalog without inconsistencies.

As usual, many people published their complaints about what happened on X (formerly Twitter):

Spotify acknowledged what happened and said that the situation is under investigation by the platform team. In a post on the community blog, one of the moderators says that the company is “receiving complaints about intermittent problems in the Web Player, desktop app, TV clients and partner devices” and should bring updates soon.
For now, the solution is to wait or turn to other streaming services.
