Accident between motorcycle, truck and hearse leaves one injured in Angra dos Reis | South of Rio and Costa Verde

An accident between a truck, a motorcycle and a funeral home car left one person injured this Wednesday afternoon (27) on the Rio-Santos Highway (BR-101), in Angra dos Reis (RJ). The accident happened at km 495, on the road towards Paraty, around 4pm.

According to the Federal Highway Police, the victim was rescued and taken to the Japuíba Municipal Hospital. It was not known which vehicle she was in.

According to CCR RioSP, the concessionaire that manages the highway, at around 5:45 pm, traffic was flowing slowly in both directions.

At the same time, the congestion was 4 km towards Mangaratiba (RJ) and 5 km towards Paraty.
