Public school teacher in MA wins gold medal in mathematics olympiad and is among the 10 best in Brazil | Come see, Little One!

As part of the award, the teacher will have the opportunity to undertake a technical and cultural exchange to visit the UNESCO Teacher Education Center (TEC Unesco), at China Normal University, in Shanghai. The Chinese city leads world rankings for teaching the subject.

The awards ceremony took place online and the 10 winners were presented in alphabetical order. To the g1the professor spoke more about the emotion he felt in receiving the award.

“The feeling of being among the 10 medalists for me was an incredible feeling. When I signed up, I did it to challenge myself. I’ve always wanted to participate in an Olympics. Since I started working with OBMEP, it’s always been a dream. I always imagined myself having been a student participating in the Olympics.”
