According to columnist Lauro Jardim, from O Globo, the judge authorized Aline and Maxwell to talk for 15 minutes, before the hearing in which Chiquinho Brazão, Domingos Brazão and Rivaldo Barbosa, appointed as principals, were also heard. Suel is identified by investigations as being responsible for monitoring Marielle’s steps days before the murder.

“There was a PF operation on Sunday,” stated Aline. “They arrested who?” asks Maxwell. “Brazão, Chiquinho and delegate Rivaldo”, says Aline.

Suel wanted to know more and asked: “What about delegate Daniel Rosa?” “Not that one”, informed Aline. “So he ran away, right?”

The mention of Deputy Daniel Rosa, who headed the Homicide Department during part of the period of investigation into the murder of Marielle and Anderson, brought up a series of questions from Suel. The judge, realizing the direction the conversation was taking, decided to end it immediately.

Daniel Rosa was not included in the Federal Police report that supported the recent arrests. In the Chamber, the decision on maintaining Domingos Brazão’s prison remains without a defined date, after Bolsonaro deputies requested a review by the Constitution and Justice Commission (CCJ). Chiquinho Brazão, advisor to the Court of Auditors of the State of Rio de Janeiro, is expected to be fired after the Socialism and Freedom Party (PSOL) calls for his impeachment. Rivaldo Barbosa remains in prison. Everyone denies involvement.
