The Renault Kardian 2025 is now available at the French automaker’s dealerships. Recently launched, the SUV is the first of 7 launches that Renault intends to make in Brazil by 2027.

It also inaugurates the Renault Group Modular Platform (RGMP), an evolution of the CMF-B modular base, and prices start at R$112,790 in the entry-level Evolution version and reach R$132,790 in the top-of-the-line Première Edition.

Engines

Under the hood, the Kardian features Renault’s new 1.0 turbo flex three-cylinder engine in all versions. It offers 125 hp of power and 220 Nm of torque, regardless of fuel (gasoline/ethanol). The transmission is always a six-speed dual-clutch automatic. Despite this, there are rumors that the Kardian may gain versions in the future with the 6-speed manual transmission from the late Sandero RS.

Consumption

For Renault Kardian consumption data, we used as a reference the data released by Inmetro’s Brazilian Vehicle Labeling Program (PBEV).

According to Inmetro, the Renault Kardian achieves 9.0 km/l in the city and 9.7 km/l on the highway with ethanol. With gasoline, the numbers are 13.1 km/l and 13.9 km/l, respectively.

Evolution – The entry-level version of the Renault Kardian is equipped as standard with fabric seats, digital air conditioning with auto function and pollen filter, electric mirrors with arrow indicators and black finish, split rear seat, seat belt with adjustment height, glove box and trunk with courtesy light, 7″ digital instrument panel, 8″ multimedia with Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay, on-board computer, 6 airbags (front, side and curtain), hill start assistant (HSA), stability control (ESC), rear parking sensor, tire pressure monitoring, seat belt fastening alert for all occupants, emergency braking assistant with warning signs, 15″ spare tire for temporary use, LED headlights, paddle-shift, steering wheel with height and depth adjustment, functional and modular roof rails, shark antenna, 16″ wheels with stylized hubcaps.

Techno – Just above, the Techno version brings the items from the Kardian Evolution and adds seats with partial leather and fabric upholstery, electronic parking brake, face-to-face key with card format, remote or button start, automatic emergency braking, collision alert front, raised center console with premium upholstery armrest and storage compartment, 17” biton diamond alloy wheels, premium upholstery steering wheel.

Premiere Edition – The top-of-the-line version of the Kardian brings the items from the Techno configuration and adds an induction smartphone charger, adaptive cruise control (ACC), multiview camera (MVC), blind spot and forward distance alert, twilight sensor , front parking sensor, fog lights, ambient lighting, “première edition” side badge, tinted 17” biton diamond alloy wheels and black Nacré biton roof.
