The mystery surrounding the death of a 17-year-old teenager in Vacaria, in Serra do Rio Grande do Sul, takes on even more intriguing contours with new details revealed by the police. The body of João Guilherme Trentin, missing after a traffic accident, was found inside a cemetery, almost 100 meters from the site of the vehicle overturn.

According to the coroner, the young man had head trauma and loss of brain mass, which raises questions about the possibility of him having left the scene on his own. Delegate Carlos Alberto Defaveri, responsible for the case, expresses his perplexity at these facts.
In addition to the fatal head injuries, João Guilherme also had broken elbows and abrasions on his back. The situation becomes even more intriguing considering that the teenager was in the back seat of the vehicle at the time of the accident. His body was found in a vegetation area inside the cemetery, the morning after the accident.
As the investigations unfolded, another occupant of the vehicle gave a statement on Monday morning (1st). An 18-year-old girl, who was next to João Guilherme, was taken to medical care in serious condition. The driver and another passenger also required medical care after the accident, which occurred on Tuesday night (26).
