Businessman Fernando Sastre de Andrade Filho, 24 years old, driver of the Porsche that crashed into a Renault Sandero and caused the death of a 52-year-old man, presented himself at the 30th Police District of Tatuapé, east of the capital, on Monday afternoon -Friday, 1st.
The driver of the luxury car, valued at around R$1 million, began to give a statement, accompanied by two lawyers.
The delegate responsible for the case must register the case and indict the businessman for crimes of possible intent, when the risk of death or bodily harm to the colleague who was in the luxury car is assumed. He should also be charged with fleeing the scene of the accident, without providing assistance to the victims.
The app driver, Ornaldo Viana, 52 years old, who drove the Sandero, was rescued with a cardiorespiratory arrest and taken to Tatuapé Hospital. He died from “multiple trauma”.
Andrade Filho presented himself to the police on Monday afternoon. He did not speak to the press. Lawyer Carine Acardo Garcia, who defends the Porsche driver, stated that he is in a “state of shock”.

According to a report made by witnesses to the Civil Police, the businessman in the luxury car was traveling at high speed along the avenue, which has a speed limit of 50 km/h. The Civil Police are also investigating the reasons why the military police officers who responded to the incident released the businessman, who presented himself almost 40 hours after the incident.

When the agents went to the hospital to do a breathalyzer test and get their version of the accident, they didn’t find either of them.

The ministry states that it will analyze the “dynamics of the occurrence to identify any errors in operational procedures”. The secretariat did not specify how long it took between the PM’s arrival at the scene and the incident being recorded.
