In «Goucha», we learn about the story of Mafalda Pereira, who claims to be the ‘heir’ of a fortune worth 50 million euros. Aurélio Pereira made his fortune in the construction industry, having built assets worth more than 50 million euros. According to Mafalda Pereira, Aurélio’s niece, in 2004 he was diagnosed with the beginnings of dementia, after having suffered several strokes. At this stage, another nephew and his partner are available to take care of his uncle. Mafalda states that, from then on, contact with her uncle was always made difficult by that same woman, a situation that continued until her death in 2013. To the family’s astonishment, the will signed by the businessman indicated his nephew’s partner as the holder unique and universal heritage. Mafalda and the rest of her family dispute this document, as they are convinced that Aurélio would not have the psychological conditions to make a decision of this importance. Our guest, in the studio, tells us about the moment she discovered that her uncle’s entire estate had been donated to her nephew’s wife. Now, the family is contesting that same will.
