The British Secretary of State for Development and Africa, Andrew Mitchell, explained “the Government’s unequivocal condemnation of the horrific murder of seven World Central Kitchen aid workers, including three British citizens” and requested “a rapid and transparent investigation, shared with the international community”appealing to “total accountability”in a statement.
British Foreign Minister David Cameron wrote on the social network X that he had spoken to his Israeli counterpart, Israel Katz, to emphasize that the deaths of humanitarian workers were “completely unacceptable”.
“Israel must urgently explain how this happened and make important changes to ensure the safety of humanitarian workers on the ground.”said David Cameron in his latest publication.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the military airstrike as “a tragic case in which our forces unintentionally targeted innocent people in the Gaza Strip”, but stated that “this happens during wartime”.
In a video statement, the Israeli Prime Minister added that he was “We are investigating thoroughly, we are in contact with governments and will do everything to ensure it doesn’t happen again”.
United Nations spokesman Stephane Dujarric told journalists this Tuesday that the death of seven employees of the humanitarian NGO World Central Kitchen, owned by famous Spanish chef José Andrés, in the Gaza Strip, is the “inevitable result of the way this war is currently being conducted”.
The NGO explained, in a statement, that “despite having coordinated the movements with the Israeli army, the convoy was hit as it left the Deir al-Balah warehouse, where the team had unloaded more than 100 tons of humanitarian food aid transported to Gaza by sea”.
The victims of the Israeli air attack, according to World Central Kitchen (WCK), come from the United Kingdom, Australia, Poland and Palestine, as well as a citizen with dual nationality: American and Canadian.
