On that occasion, Sobreira and Mondêgo arrived at 8:47 am and only the latter got out of the car. Investigators analyzed GPS information from the cars used by suspects Sobreira and Machado, rented from the rental company where the PM’s name is registered. A witness interviewed by the police reported that Machado was introduced by Vinícius Drumond, vice-president of Imperatriz Leopoldinense and son of the late bookmaker Luizinho Drummond, who also rents his cars at the rental company, as one of the partners in the venture.
