Promoter Carol Sampaio, 42 years old, who is about to give birth to her first child, Antonio, from her marriage to the chef Frederico Xavierwrote an emotional text when talking about his mother, Marly Sampaio, who died in June last year and will not meet her grandson.
“A year ago we began our battle… we were strong, resilient, united by a love never seen before, and together we won a battle… we were happy, I loved taking care of you, having you around all the time, seeing you and mine husband in a unique love, so beautiful”, began Carol.
“But, two months later, the unexpected scare came and today it’s been 10 months since I’ve had you here, right in the week that your long-awaited grandson is going to arrive… I’m sorry that you don’t know him here with me. But I’m sure you were together before he came to me”, he added.
“I love you and all I wanted was for you to hold my hand right now… but I know you’ll be with me, I feel that and I’m sure! It’s coming, grandma, and we love you so much! Our little gift of love, hope and healing”, concluded Carol .
