Actors who will bring to life the film ‘Aria – Making Life Live’ are chosen in Manaus | Amazon

After three days of auditions, the production of the film “Aria – Making Life Live” has already chosen a good part of the cast that will bring the selected cinematographic work to life. Actress Bruna Pollari will play Ária, an 18-year-old girl who was shot to death while playing her violin, at the Ideal Clube, in Manaus, during a Carnival dance, in 1915.

The production, which was covered by the Paulo Gustavo Law, has the support of the Government of the State of Amazonas, State Council of Culture, State Secretariat for Culture and Creative Economy, Ministry of Culture and Federal Government.

According to director Cleinaldo Marinho, in total, there were more than 120 people registered for the auditions. “This number caught our attention and we were happy with the participation of actresses and actors. Registration was only open for two weeks, but demand was intense. Of the 120, we selected 105 to participate in the character selection process. Despite being a story based on a real event, we didn’t have pre-defined characteristics”, he comments.

According to the director, the facial expression, as well as the nuances of the candidates’ gaze (actors and actresses), were very important for the choices. Among the names already selected are: Bruna Pollari, Leonardo Novelino, Vanessa Pimentel, Clayson Charles, Gabriel Mota, Rosana Neves, Michel Guerrero and Jôce Mendes.

So far, the Direction Department will have the following names: Cleinaldo Marinho (script and direction), Ana Oliveira (assistant director), Lúcio Silva (director of photography), Denis Carvalho (production director), Luny Tota (direction of art) Jonatas Sales (costumes and characterization), Heverson Batata (direct sound) and Rina Sales (communication and research).

The film’s director also adds that table rehearsals and white reading have already been carried out – which is the act of exercising the citation of literary texts and reading them aloud – with the participation of the technical, art, photography, production and direction. “In addition, we have already started building sets and props. The costumes are in the final research process, as is the characterization of the characters, as it is a period film,” he explained.
