One of the journalists from SET iNews, a Taiwanese news channel, presented the news while the 7.5 magnitude earthquake, the most powerful in 25 years, hit the region, this Wednesday (3). In the video circulating on the internet, the anchor continues with the news, even with the studio shaking violently.

The young woman was presenting information about the weather when an earthquake warning appeared on the news screen. She continued reporting, while the images showed the lights that were attached to the studio ceiling moving violently and the camera showing instability, all in a live broadcast.

Tsunami warning in Japan

After the earthquake, a tsunami warning was issued in Japan. Flavia Pavanelli, 26, is in Japan and reassured her followers, saying she was in a risk-free area.

“About the earthquake/tsunami. Luckily, we are on the right side of Japan, on the east coast. Thank God this is the unaffected part of Japan. But yes, it is a shame that this is happening,” she said. The influencer also thanked us for the messages of concern. “Everything is fine in the region we are in,” she concluded.
