During a press conference, actress Júlia Lemmertz detailed her participation in the series Justiça 2. Her character has a challenging story
Countdown! Next Thursday, the 11th, the series premieres Justice 2, on Globoplay. The actress Julia Lemmertz (61) is one of the new features. A CARAS Brazil was present at the press conference to launch the new season and the actress shared about her character: ‘The hardest I’ve ever done’.
In the plot, her name is also Júlia, Carolina’s mother (Alice Wegmann). She is a very simple woman who depends financially on her brother Jayme, played by Murilo Benício (52). Júlia discovers that he sexually abused her daughter, since then, she has been in a dilemma regarding this story.
“It was the most difficult character I’ve ever played on television, a character that had a lot of difficult moments. She was very fragile emotionally and physically, fragile in the sense of all the omission and lack of courage to face what she saw, all of this made her physically ill”, comments Júlia Lemmertz.
For presenting such a complex narrative, the actress declared that she was extremely touched after recording the series: “It was torment. We don’t take the characters home, but I don’t know why it hit me this time, I was really devastated.”
“She was very raw, I had no makeup, nothing! She is a person without vanity, she has minimal vanity. Everything about her was very small, she says one thing meaning another. She has many layers”, assessed the actress.
Off-screen, Júlia Lemmertz is also a mother, but reinforces that the role was very challenging, as she has never had the same experience as the character: “I’m a mother, but I’m a completely different mother from Júlia, I’ve never been through a situation like this. She dies of sadness, of distress. It’s very difficult”, ends.
In double dose
While Justice 2 does not debut, Júlia Lemmertz can be seen in They for Them. In the final stretch of the plot, the actress is making a special appearance with the character Ester, Carol’s mother (Karine Teles). The two don’t have a very close relationship.
