The Civil Police arrested Inês Gemilaki, 48 years old, and Bruno Gemilaki Dal Poz, 28 years old, on Tuesday afternoon (23.04). Mother and son presented themselves to the police in Peixoto de Azevedo and will answer for the two murders they committed in the city last Sunday. Earlier, Inês’ husband and her brother-in-law were arrested on suspicion of involvement in the crime. Márcio Ferreira Gonçalves, who was already wanted for the crime, and his brother, Eder Gonçalves Rodrigues, who confessed to participating in the double homicide, were arrested in a residence in the central region of Alta Floresta.

The investigations indicate that the crime targeted the owner of the residence where the gathering took place, who had a dispute with those investigated due to a case relating to a rental contract.

After the arrests, Eder confessed to participating in the crime, saying he was the person who entered the residence with Inês and Bruno, firing the shots without any possibility of reaction from the victims. During the execution of the crime, Márcio stayed in the Ford Ranger truck outside the residence, waiting to give the killers an escape.

“With the arrests, it was possible to identify a room involved in the crime, previously unknown, since we believed that the man in the black t-shirt who entered the house and fired the shots was Márcio, husband and stepfather of the other two perpetrators of the crime”, said delegate Anna Marien, responsible for investigations.

After being located, the two perpetrators were taken to the Alta Floresta Police Station where all measures were taken by delegate Thiago Marques Berger, who will represent the conversion of the act into preventive detention.
