“Unfortunately, the sequence did not go as planned and several crew members were injured,” said a spokesperson for Amazon MGM Studios, the production company responsible for the film.
According to information provided to the Associated Press, a truck “locked up” and crashed into a car. The report further states that two people were hospitalized with various injuries, from bruises to broken bones.
In a statement sent to IndieWire, the same spokesperson said that the company is still investigating what happened. “The well-being of all crew and cast is our priority, and we will continue to insist on the highest industry safety standards during filming. All safety precautions were reviewed beforehand and monitored during filming.”
