Accident on the set of Eddie Murphy’s film leaves several injured

Several members of the crew of the film “The Pickup”, starring Eddie Murphy and Keke Palmer, were injured on the filming set on Saturday, 20, in Georgia, United States.

The accident occurred during the recording of an action scene involving a truck and a car. The total number of injuries has not been confirmed by Amazon MGM Studios.
However, three of the team members were hospitalized, reported the Associated Press (AP) on Tuesday, 23.
According to one of the studio’s spokespersons, the incident occurred during the recording of one of the film’s action scenes:
“Unfortunately, one of the sequences did not go as planned, and several crew members were injured,” he told American news portal The Hollywood Reporter.
“We are still in the process of collecting the information to understand what happened and why,” the studio continued.
According to the Associated Press, two people were discharged from the hospital and one remains hospitalized as of the last update on Tuesday.
“The injuries range from bruises and bruises to broken bones,” concluded the AP.
The film is directed by Tim Story and stars Eddie Murphy, Keke Palmer, Pete Davidson and Eva Longoria.
The Pickup does not yet have a release date. The newspaper The Atlanta Constitution confirmed that the recordings would be completed by the end of June.
