An electric car manufactured by the company Huawei, in partnership with the Seres Group, was involved in a serious accident in the Chinese province of Shanxi when it collided with a truck, leaving three people dead, including a two-year-old child.
The vehicle was an Aito M7 SUV, which caught fire after the incident, according to state media reported this Sunday (28). Aito Automobile, the brand that makes cars available on the market from Huawei, issued a statement on social media WeChat and Weibo stating that it is investigating the accident with the traffic police.
According to the company, data from the vehicle indicated that it was being driven at a speed of 115 kilometers per hour at the time the collision occurred and the equipment and battery readings were normal.
According to the local press, the family had bought the car just three months before the tragedy. There are still no conclusions about the reason for the accident.
