DB Schenker has just expanded its service offering with Direct Express, which aims to address urgent and time-sensitive shipping needs.

In a statement, the director of land transport in Portugal and Spain, Alberto Pérez, maintains that this service “is another example of the company’s commitment” to excellence and to offering the customer the best possible experience in the logistics sector”.

“When a customer has a critical and very urgent need for transport, we can offer them a direct and express service to give them the best response”, he adds.

European in scope, the new service will have a customer service team with a single point of contact, offering a 30-minute response time and full visibility 24 hours a day. Furthermore, it has no weight or volume limitations.

Direct Express thus reinforces DB Schenker’s service portfolio in road transport, with the company highlighting, in the same statement, that it comes to “satisfy the needs of its customers in a more personalized way”, within the scope of “a strategy of diversification into more premium categories.”
