Three hooded men allegedly fired the shots
Late this Tuesday afternoon (30), a man was murdered and another was injured in the Jardim Veneza neighborhood, in João Pessoa, close to the region known as “Três Lagoas”.
According to preliminary information, three hooded men got out of a white car and fired shots at João Diniz da Silva, aged 41, who died at the scene.
José Bruno Pereira Alves, 34 years old, was with João and was also shot. He was injured with three shots, being hit in the shoulder, chest and abdomen. The man was taken to the hospital in a private car. Senador Humberto Lucena Emergency and Trauma Hospital, in the Capital.
João Diniz’s mother, known as Luzia dos Pallets, witnessed the crime. She was on the other side BR-101 when he heard the shots. The woman says that she heard her son’s cries for help, but when she got to the other side of the road, he was already dead.
Still according to Dona Luzia, her son had no enemies, despite having already been arrested as a result of the Maria da Penha Law.
The perpetrators and motives for the murder and attempted murder will be investigated by the Civil Police.
