CESP – Trade, Office and Services Workers Union of Portugal (CGTP) said, in a statement, that these workers have “intense work rhythms and unregulated schedules”operating until 18 hours a day, seven days a weekincluding holidays.
For the union, the businesses must close on all national holidays, as well as to Sunday, and from 22:00.
Workers also demand a reduction in working hours for 35 hours weekly.
