Does Tesla officially sell cars in Brazil? For now this is not yet a reality.
And we still don’t know when Elon Musk’s brand will actually take over the business here, but until that happens, it’s possible to have a car from the North American manufacturer in your garage.
Imported independently, whether through retail or on personal customer order, Tesla cars are present in Brazilalthough they are rare to see on the streets and can be purchased by those looking for the brand’s technology.
For those interested, Tesla cars can be purchased here in reais, but with converted values and also considering customs fees and taxes.
Also, it’s important to keep in mind that functions like FSD (Full Self-Driving) are not available here, although Auto Pilot works.
So, what Tesla cars are sold in Brazil? There are at least four models from Musk’s brand that are available here and in different versions, with prices that can simply triple, depending on the option.
Tesla Model 3 – From R$389,000
The Tesla Model 3 can be purchased in Brazil and has prices starting at R$389,000 in advertisements that talk about ready delivery for the AWD version, with a range of 629 km, which goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and with a finish of 201 km/h.
In the USA, the Tesla Model 3 starts at US$38,990 in the RWD version, US$47,740 in the AWD Long Range version and US$53,990 AWD Performance, respectively, R$202,584, R$248,047 and R$280,521.
Here, the Performance version costs R$ 1,499,990.
The Performance version goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and has a limit of 229 km/h (American) and 262 km/h (Chinese), with a range of 528 km. There, the FSD package costs $8,000 for life or $499 monthly temporary.
Tesla Model Y – From R$489,000
Tesla’s electric crossover is another car sold here, with the Tesla Model Y having prices here ranging from R$489,000 and R$639,990, found in advertisements that talk about the AWD Performance version.
This version goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, with a range of 487 km, with a maximum speed limited to 250 km/h. There, the FSD package costs $8,000 for life or $499 monthly temporary.
In the USA, the Model Y starts at US$29,490 in the RWD version, US$34,490 in the AWD Long Range and US$37,990 in the AWD Performance, respectively, R$153,224, R$179,203 and R$197,388.
Tesla Model X – From R$847,000

The autonomy in the LR version is 539 km and 525 km in the Plaid. There, the FSD package costs $8,000 for life or $499 monthly temporary.
The steering wheel costs $1,000.
Tesla Model S – From R$694,000
The Tesla Model S is the oldest of the brand’s models and is available in Brazil with prices ranging from R$694,000 to R$1,290,000, the latter being for the Plaid version, which has 1,020 horsepower and goes up to 100 km/h in 1.99 seconds.
The Model S is priced in the US at between US$66,490 or R$345,468 in direct conversion into the Long Range version, which has a range of 647 km.
The Plaid version is priced at US$81,490 or R$423,405, with a range of 578 km. The FSD package costs $8,000 for life or $499 monthly temporary.
The stick steering wheel also costs $1,000.
