The location is close to some trail entrances to the Tijuca Forest, at the access point to Cachoeira do Silvestre and also close to the climb to Corcovado.
She fell from Rua Almirante Alexandrino to the base of a hillside containment structure, also close to a forested area. At the site of the fall, there is only a small wall, which reaches approximately knee height for adults passing by on the street.
A few meters from the fall site, there is a staircase that makes it easier for those who want to access the waterfall.
