The protests appeared on the microblogging social network around 8 am, the time when the instability began to affect more people. However, it didn’t take long for the complaints to gain some volume. Currently, the search for “Nubank crashed” or “Nubank offline” on X/Twitter returns many results from dissatisfied people who are unable to carry out operations on the app.
Nubank did not make any comments or publications on the matter, there is no way of knowing the reason for the drop. The report from the Canaltech contacted fintech to find out what was going on and will update this text in case of a response.
In a quick search on X, it is easy to come across opinions from digital bank supporters pointing out flaws in the application. One person stated that they made a Pix and even after almost 20 minutes, the value had not dropped. Other users point out that they can’t even open the app to see basic information, such as a statement or available balance.
