Son of farmer Ins Gemilaki, author of the shots that took the lives of two elderly people, doctor Bruno Gemilaki claimed Justice that he did not know that his mother was obsessed with killing. On April 21, Ins and Bruno invaded a house in Peixoto de Azevedo in search of miner Enerci Afonso Lavall, and she ended up killing Pilso Pereira da Cruz, 69, and Rui Luiz Bogo, 81. Lavall was hit, but survived. Father José Roberto Domingos was also shot, but escaped. However, prosecutor Álvaro Padilha de Oliveira, who denounced them, contested Bruno’s version.

That day, Bruno and Ins invaded the private house of Erneci Afonso Lavall, the target of the farmer, located on Rua Thiago Magalhes Nunes, nº 1403, Alvorada neighborhood. Images from the residence’s security cameras showed that the son accompanied and supported his mother throughout the venture, carrying a 12-gauge shotgun.

Although he claimed not to know that Ins had homicidal intentions, he accompanied her at all times and, in possession of the long gun, fired at least four shots. The marks of the shots were located by the Police in the residence.

The finding that Bruno carried out the shots allowed the prosecutor to conclude, when adding the complaint, that he must answer for the results of the criminal enterprise led by his mother, to the extent of his respective collaboration.

The same goes for der Gonalves Rodrigues. He was the one who drove the vehicle and also appeared with a short weapon in hand, contributing to the success of the executions.

“Although he did not fire any shots at the location where the victims were, that is, at the back of the residence, it is possible to see the support he gave to the entire situation, whether driving the vehicle (Truck), or acting as a kind of rear guard for Ins. and Bruno, which is why the three defendants must answer for the results obtained”, noted Álvaro, in a new statement included in the records this Thursday (8).

The trio was charged with murder, with the qualification of a futile motive and a resource that made it difficult to defend the victims. Bruno is detained in the Peixoto Provisional Detention Center, along with Der. Ins remains detained in the Colder Provisional Detention Center.
