Young man who orchestrated an attack on a school that ended in the death of Giovanna Bezerra wanted to broadcast the torture of a homeless person; understand!

A young Portuguese neo-Nazi from 17 years, recently arrested in Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal, shocks Brazilian and Portuguese authorities for his macabre criminal plans in Brazil.

In addition to orchestrating the attack to the Sapopemba State School which resulted in the death of the student Giovanna Bezerra, 17 years old, the young man planned another barbaric crime: the torture and death of a homeless man in Brazil, with the aim of profiting from the live broadcast of crime on the internet.

One of the crimes that was being programmed, in Brazil, was the murder with signs of the prolonged suffering of a beggar, with these images transmitted in a cyber environment and in which each user would pay an amount to watch”, he said Neves at a press conference.

In the decision that justified the preventive detention of the young man, the judge of the Central Criminal Instruction Court of Lisbon, Dr. Helena Santoshighlighted the “absolutely notorious concrete danger of continuation of criminal activity”, both due to the reiteration of the facts and their “expressive gravity”.

The judge also highlighted the young man’s “very deep-rooted extremist and radical ideas”, warning of the “magnitude of brutality and violence” in his personality, aggravated by power to influence other young people.

Pre-birthday arrest

The young neo-Nazi was arrested a few days before turning 18, living with one of the parents in Santa Maria da Feira. He divided his time between Feira and Gondomar, in the metropolitan region of Porto. Preventive detention was considered essential to cut off the young man’s contact with any type of communication, preventing new crimes and harming the investigation.

In addition to the custom death of the homeless man and the attack on the school that killed Giovanna Bezerra, the young man also planned massacres in other Brazilian schools. Fortunately, investigations by the PJ and the Federal Police, with the collaboration of the Discord platform, prevented these crimes from being carried out, according to the O Globo portal.

In a statement to the Portuguese press, the platform Discord reiterated its commitment to security and combating illegal activities. The company has “strict policies against illegal activities and sharing harmful content, with zero tolerance for violent extremism and child abuse.”

The young neo-Nazi is accused of committing, in total, 11 crimes: qualified homicide, five attempted homicides, pornography of minors, criminal association, public instigation of a crime and public support for the crime.
