“The worst thing is not death.” Nurse clarifies doubts about the end of life

-

TWe all know that one day we will die. And, although it’s the only certainty we have in life, many (the vast majority) don’t like to talk about it.

On social media, a nurse, however, decided to ‘grab’ the topic and demystify all the concerns surrounding this issue.

Julie works in a palliative care unit and shares some of her beliefs regarding death on her TikTok page.

“What hurts the most is not death, but suffering”, he begins by stating, in an interview with Good Morning America. “Our bodies were made to live and die and the less we interfere in that process the better”, he continues.

On her TikTok account, the nurse shares a series of videos about death and how to deal with the loss of loved ones. Many of these videos are the answer to questions you are asked.

To better deal with the issue, Julie McFadden says she recommends that people think in advance about how they want to die.

“Because if we know how we want to die, that will help us decide, with the time we have left, how we want to live,” he says. “It’s not over until it’s over. You’re not dead yet.”
