5-year-old Portuguese girl dies in a violent accident in France

UA five-year-old Portuguese girl died this Tuesday in France following a serious plane crash that left her aunt and godmother in serious condition.

According to France Bleu, the accident occurred on the afternoon of Tuesday, May 7th, shortly after 3:30 pm, in the town of Habas, in France. It was a head-on collision between two cars. In one of them was the girl and her aunt. The child was in cardiorespiratory arrest when health authorities arrived.

They tried to revive her, but in vain. The aunt was seriously injured and was heliported.

In the other vehicle were two men who were slightly injured. According to Dax’s prosecutor, none of them had alcohol or drugs.

According to Rádio Montalegre, the girl’s funeral will take place in Parafita, where her parents live. The girl would be in her aunt’s custody.
