The murder of father and son caused the city hall of Muliterno, in the North of Rio Grande do Sul, to declare an official mourning period of three days. The incident happened on Sunday morning (31). At the time, Luiz Brollo Sobrinho, aged 71, and Fábio Júnior Brollo, aged 44, were shot dead inside the family market.
“We lost Mr. Luiz Brollo Sobrinho, dedicated and esteemed former secretary of works of the municipality, and his son, the entrepreneur Fábio Junior Brollo. Luiz Brollo Sobrinho was a dedicated and committed professional, whose contribution to the development of Muliterno was invaluable.”
“Likewise, Fábio Junior Brollo leaves his mark as a visionary and inspiring businessman, whose enterprise not only created jobs, but also boosted the economic growth of our city”, says the statement.
The crime occurred around 8:30 am and was recorded by security cameras. In the images, two criminals capture the owners of the establishment while another robs customers. The recordings also show that the robbers and victims disagree, at which point shots are fired.
The three criminals fled the scene in a vehicle, which was abandoned on BR 285. The Civil Police are investigating the case as a robbery. So far, no one has been arrested.
