During the “Mais Você” program this Monday (25), Ana Maria Braga expressed her indignation towards Daniel Alves and Robinho. The presenter criticized the Spanish court’s decision to grant provisional release to the player, after paying a million-dollar bail. Both athletes were convicted of rape.

For those who don’t know, Daniel Alves received the “perk” of provisional freedom, even after being convicted of the crime. This is because the Spanish court received a bail of 1 million euros, approximately R$5.5 million, from the player. It is worth noting, however, that the athlete’s assets in Brazil are blocked. Therefore, it is not known for sure how he would have collected the amount.

Even so, the presenter vehemently criticized the decision to grant provisional freedom to Daniel Alves and did not fail to mention Robinho’s case. The player was arrested last Thursday (21) after being convicted in Italy for the same crime. “You are convicted, you flee here or you are simply convicted, pay bail and get out. It’s something I can’t understand,” she criticized.

The celebrity was also perplexed by the lack of responsibility shown by the accused. “Where is justice with the victims? I never heard any of them apologize and say ‘I was wrong’, admitting what they did”, pointed out the presenter.

In addition to criticizing the attitude of the condemned, she reflected on the stance of some people. “It should be a natural indignation of every human being, but it isn’t. There are a lot of men who rub shoulders, who justify, who relativize, but it’s something that can’t happen and it does happen. Every eight minutes a woman is raped in Brazil. It’s crazy,” he concluded.
