‘BBB 24’: Davi and MC Bin Laden should be expelled according to contract and Globo evaluates decision, says columnist

The fight between Davi and MC Bin Laden was the culmination of Sincerão’s night this Monday (25) on ‘BBB 24’. The funk player was arguing with Matteus when Davi got involved. Then, the two began a heated argument in which they both threatened and instigated the other to attack. Davi even touched MC Bin Laden as he approached and the funk artist elbowed Lucas ‘Buda’ in the middle of the confusion. Even the dummies had to intervene in an attempt to break up the fight, which only ended because Boninho shouted at the two and ordered them to stop.

On social media, internet users are calling for the expulsion of the two participants. Columnist Gabriel Perline, from IG Gente, brought to light some clauses in Globo’s contract that state that expulsion is really the solution to the case. Understand!

Globo contract provides for expulsion of Davi and MC Bin Laden

Gabriel Perline recalled that the fight between Davi and MC Bin Laden left them both at risk of aggression, in addition to putting the other participants and even the dummies in danger, since everyone tried to break up the fight. That said, the journalist recalled Clause 11 – ANTI-CORRUPTION, paragraph 2, which begins on page 9 of Globo’s contract.

“Respect for others is an indispensable premise for carrying out Globo’s programs and all activities. In this sense, Globo notes that abusive behavior, such as moral and sexual harassment or other forms of abuse, as well as threats of assault or aggression, physical or verbal, between Participants or third parties, will not be tolerated under any circumstances.“.

Already in Annex 1 of Clause 2 – DISCLASSIFICATION HYPOTHESES, paragraph 1, which begins on page 12, it is very clear that Globo foresees the disqualification of the participant who fails to comply with the rules.

“Without prejudice to the other hypotheses of disqualification and/or elimination expressly provided for in these Regulations, in the Contract or in the Basic Rules of the Program, Globo may, at any time and at any stage of the Competition, disqualify, including before the start of the Program, without any formal explanation, any of the Participants who fail to comply with any rule and/or obligation established by Globo for the development of the Competition and/or implementation of the Program, as well as in the situations exemplified below, if found by Globo, according to its sole discretion:

(i) that the Participant’s participation and/or performance is incompatible with the Program;
(iv) that the Participant failed to comply with any rules of these Regulations, the Agreement and/or Basic Rules of the Program, including with regard to the conditions of exclusivity and confidentiality“, the contract states.

Davi and MC Bin Laden are repeat offenders

The journalist also states that Globo’s contract also provides that if a participant receives more than one warning after committing a serious penalty, they must be expelled.

“Globo may, at any time, in the event of non-compliance with any rule established in this Regulation, in the Contract or in the Basic Rules of the Program, according to the severity of the infraction and according to Globo’s exclusive assessment, preserving the possibility of immediate application of the penalty provided for in item 2.1 above, choose to apply warnings to Participants (Warnings). The application of 2 (two) or more Warnings may, depending on the severity of the infraction and according to Globo’s exclusive assessment, result in the immediate elimination and/or disqualification of the Program Participant“, says the document.

It is not the first time that Davi and MC Bin Laden have been involved in a fight of this type. At the beginning of the program, the two had a heated argument, including insults, threats and one sticking to the other to prove superiority. The moment led to the meme ‘Calm down, Calabreso’ and went viral at the time. So, it’s not the first serious fight they’ve had.

Therefore, taking into account TV Globo’s own rules, the expulsion of Davi and MC Bin Laden must happen.
