Heitor (Adriano Toloza) tells Regina (Christine Fernandes) and Valdemar (Vitor Hugo) that he stopped a man from killing Cacau (Matilde Reymão), with Pipa (Sílvia Chiola) being a collateral victim, who unfortunately did not survive the attack, collapsing the to cry. They both look at him with regret.

Cláudia (Joana Duarte) tells Vasco (Rodrigo Soares) that Pipa was going to arrive in Brazil that morning, but strangely she didn’t get on board, having a bad feeling, especially because Tiago (José Condessa) didn’t answer the phone.

Tiago recovers his senses, remembering seeing Cacau and Pipa. He stops in shock when he sees Pipa dead.

Salomão (Paulo Pires) shows Justino (António Capelo) Simone’s (Alexandra Lencastre) jewelry that was sent to him anonymously, with the need to find out who could have done it. They exclude Jaime (Sérgio Praia), Lalá (Inês Castel-Branco) and Lola (Ana Bustorff), leaving Regina as a suspect, having been at the hotel on the day the jewelry was stolen.

Sal (Carolina Amaral) breaks the computer with a rock, then sets it on fire. Tomané (Salvador Nery) films everything, intrigued.

Nelson enters the house devastated for having caused the death of Pipa (Sílvia Chiola). He clings to a photo of his daughter, crying.

Tiago (José Condessa) is with two PJ agents, who tell him they need to interrogate him about Pipa’s death. Martim (Lucas Dutra) hugs Tiago, who breaks down crying, devastated.

Justino tells Salomão that his theory that Regina (Christine Fernandes) could be Chiquinha (Bruna Alvim) is not so far-fetched after all because she could have been the one who stole Simone’s (Alexandra Lencastre) jewelry to get revenge on her. Salomão receives a call from Júlia (Fernanda Serrano) with everyone in shock because Pipa has been murdered and Cacau (Matilde Reymão) is the main suspect in her death.

In a van on the way to Spain, Regina; Valdemar (Vitor Hugo) and Heitor (Adriano Toloza) talk about it being unlikely that Pipa was the one who orchestrated Cacau’s kidnapping, with the need to find out who wanted to kill her. Heitor becomes tense when he remembers that Pipa’s father wanted to use her in his revenge plans.

Nelson, now dressed, prepares to return to prison with Heitor’s motorcycle. He keeps a photograph of his daughters with him, throwing the frame onto the sofa.

Justino asks Salomão to find out more details about Pipa’s death from the police and they leave. Sal calls Rui (Nuno Pardal), being pleased with the good news that he has discovered a witness who proves that it was Filó who threw acid in Chiquinha’s face. Sal is shocked when she reads the news of the murder at Tiago’s house, thinking with joy that it was Cacau who died.

Cláudia (Joana Duarte) remains very worried about Pipa, thinking that something has really happened to her. Vasco (Rodrigo Soares) and Anita (Catarina Nifo) try to relativize. Vasco receives a call from Martim saying that Pipa has died. Cláudia bursts into tears, devastated.

In an open field, Nelson burns the clothes he used in his attempt to kill Cacau and which resulted in Pipa’s death. He controls himself not to cry thinking about his daughter.

The van stops at a service station, Cacau begins to regain consciousness without the men noticing. Heitor and Valdemar prepare for the mission to rescue Cacau. Regina asks them not to kill the men so they can find out who ordered Cacau’s kidnapping. The van is parked behind the service station, Cacau wakes up and thinks how he can escape. The men are alarmed because they are throwing stones at the van, and are surprised by Heitor and Valdemar, who attack them. Cacau takes advantage of the confusion to escape. Cacau runs away through the bush, doesn’t notice a hole in the ground and falls inside, ending up fainting. Valdemar manages to neutralize the man he was fighting and runs to where Cacau fled. Heitor is unable to neutralize the other men and they go after Valdemar. The men attack Valdemar, only to see Cacau lying in the hole. They are going to get her out of there when they are shot in the head by Hector, dying. Valdemar reproachfully tells Heitor that he shouldn’t have done that because now they will never find out who ordered Cacau’s kidnapping.

Valdemar and Heitor arrive with Cacau passed out. They wonder what to do because Cacau needs medical treatment, but they can’t take her to the hospital because she is accused of Pipa’s death.

Justino, Jaime and Salomão enter Tiago’s house and he confirms that he only saw Cacau with Pipa, and she is the only suspect in Pipa’s death.

Regina, Heitor and Valdemar enter the house with Cacau, who is still passed out. Heitor tells Regina that he has a strong suspicion of who wanted to kill Cacau, running out the door Guto and Pitty look very worried at Cacau.

Heitor arrives at the prison, noticing his motorcycle parked there. He appears gleeful because this confirms that it was indeed Nelson who took Pipa’s life.
