AND the series of the moment and whoever hasn’t seen it yet, plans to do so very soon. ‘Baby Reindeer’ is in first place in the top most watched series in Portugal, a success that extends to several other countries around the world.
The production stars Richard Gadd and tells the story of the comedian himself, marked by a serious episode of persecution and sexual assault.
In ‘Baby Reindeer’, Richard Gadd plays his own story, with actress Jessica Gunning, who plays Martha, at his side.
Martha will meet Richard Gadd’s character, named Donny Dunn, in the bar where he works, at which point an intense adventure begins from which the protagonist can no longer leave.
Richard Gadd, until the series debut, was only known in Scotland, but now everyone is talking about what he experienced. The 34-year-old writer, comedian and actor is openly bisexual and is one of the ambassadors for We Are Survivors, a UK charity that seeks to help men who have experienced sexual abuse.
His CV includes projects such as ‘Outlander’ and ‘Code 404’, although it was, without a shadow of a doubt, ‘Baby Reindeer’ that catapulted him to fame.
