The American Siamese sisters who became famous after starring in a reality show exchanged rings in the United States. People magazine’s website reports that Abby Hensel married nurse and former military officer Josh Bowling.
Now working as teachers at a children’s school in the state of Minnesota, the 34-year-old Siamese sisters made their marriage public through a post on Facebook. They shared a photo of the ceremony, held in 2021.
The image shared by the Hensels shows them smiling, wearing a white dress and holding hands with their husband.
Abby and Brittany Hensel became famous in an interview they gave to presenter Oprah Winfrey in 1996. Then, a few years later, they starred in the reality show ‘Abby & Brittany’, an eight-episode series centered on their routine.
People magazine said it contacted Abby and Brittany to get more information about the wedding, but they have not yet commented on the matter.
In the first episode of the reality show they starred in, the sisters said: “People have been curious about us since we were born, for obvious reasons. But our parents never let us believe that we couldn’t do whatever we wanted.”
