The Baby Reindeer series arrived on Netflix on April 11th and is proving to be a huge success on the platform, reaching the top spot for most viewed content.

Variety further states that Baby Reindeer was the No. 1 TV series on the service from April 15 to April 21, racking up 13.3 million views — impressive, especially for a title that debuted with a small-scale marketing campaign.

In fact, you may have never heard of this series, and here is its official synopsis:

“When a struggling comedian treats a vulnerable woman with kindness, he triggers an unhealthy obsession that threatens to destroy both of their lives.” The story is inspired by real events experienced by the series creator and protagonist, Richard Gadd.

In fact, the series is being an unexpected success, and one of the most acclaimed horror writers of all time, Stephen King, was not indifferent. Stephen is known for works such as IT, The Shining, Misery, Carrie, among many other books.

Using his account on Platform X, this is what he had to say about the series: “BABY REINDEER: Damn.” You can see the post below.
