From what changed in Israel after Iran’s attack to what is changing in the war in Ukraine and which is being decided in the North American Congress, Francisco Seixas da Costa’s analysis also shows a wave of social violence in Spain.

Since Iran attacked Israel, the international community seems to have become reluctant to express its refusal to accept the tragic events in the Gaza Strip. On the contrary, from an internal point of view, orthodox and far-right radicals accuse Benjamin Netanyahu of having been too ‘kind’ with the attack he prepared against Iran in retaliation.

Something also changed in the war in Ukraine. Not so much on the ground, where everything remains more or less the same, but in the North American Congress – which decided to move forward with another huge aid package for the Ukrainians. It still remains to convince Donald Trump, but that seems impossible. What no longer seems so impossible is his defeat in the elections.

Once again on this side of the Atlantic, it is worth looking at Spain – submerged in a drift of social violence like no other – and which could well be a kind of fate.

Everything to see this week in ‘The Art of War’, on the multimedia platform JE TV, a program led by journalist António Freitas de Sousa and with comments from Ambassador Francisco Seixas da Costa.
