Tim Vieira collects signatures to run for President of the Republic | Presidential elections

Timothy Vieira, better known as Tim Vieira, is a businessman and investor, and you may recognize him due to his participation in the 2015 Portuguese version of the television program “Shark Tank”, in which some investors decide to bet on ideas from entrepreneurial competitors. Now, he wants to run for President of the Republic and promises to focus on the theme “Portugality”.

“I am running because I believe that the values ​​and unique characteristics of the Portuguese should be the engine of change and innovation in the country”, reads a press release sent this Thursday. That’s why the businessman, born in 1975 in Johannesburg, South Africa, is now collecting signatures so he can run for the presidential elections, which will take place in 2026. To do so, he will have to collect 7,500.

To help with this task, we created a sitewhich he called “Tim Vieira 26”, where it is possible to find a chronology about his life, a recruitment section for help in the campaign and even a quiz, entitled “What do you know about the presidency?”. The digital platform wants to be the “central point” for a “space for sharing and open dialogue”.

Tim Vieira founded the Group Brave Generation, an educational project that wants to reformulate the concept of teaching, and the Association BeBraveas well as the Caracol film studios Studios.
