Brazilian group launches book about female entrepreneurs in the USA

The group Uma Sobe e Puxa a Outra, formed by C-Level executives and entrepreneurs, launched the English version of the book that gives the group its name: Rise and Raise Others – Real Life Stories From Inspiring Women.

The launch took place on Tuesday, 12th, at South by Southwest (SXSW), an event taking place in Austin, in the United States. Just like its original Portuguese version, the book contains stories about female entrepreneurship.

Personalities who also contributed to the book, such as Hugh Forrest, co-president of SXSW, Maria Paula, actress and Ambassador of Peace, as well as author and one of the editorial coordinators, participated in the launch.

Paula Braga, CEO of Automotive Business, was also one of the participants in the creation of the publication and was present at the launch of the English version of the book at SXSW.

Published by WeBook Publishing, the work brings together around 80 testimonials about the lives and careers of women who, through their exciting stories, became great references in their respective areas of activity.

“This is the third book we are launching and, if we add up all the books already published, we have put on paper more than 114 truly inspiring stories. Our goal is to reach an increasingly larger audience and, therefore, an English version, available internationally”, commented Natasha de Caiado Castro, founder of Uma Sobe e Puxa a Outra.

The book is already available on the Amazon website, at Barnes & Nobleand soon also in WeBook, Target, and Walmart online stores.
