The Portuguese stock exchange closed positive this Tuesday, following most of the main European markets. BCP was one of the drivers of the PSI, with the bank’s shares returning to above 0.30 euros.

The Lisbon stock exchange closed in positive territory this Tuesday, following the positive trend experienced in the main European markets. The PSI gained 0.37%, to 6,222.03 points, with 11 listed in the green, three falling and two – Galp and Ibersol – closed unchanged.

The biggest rise of the day belonged to Corticeira Amorim, with a gain of 2.62%, to 9.80 euros, followed by BCP, which advanced 1.73%, to 0.3006 euros, the highest closing value in more than two months.

In a shorter week due to the Friday holiday, the variations were not very significant for the majority of listed companies.

Among the heavyweights, in addition to BCP and Galp, Jerónimo Martins appreciated 0.16%, closing at 18.56 euros.

The EDP family continues to put pressure on the national stock market. EDP ​​fell 0.56%, to 3.532 euros, while EDP Renováveis ​​dropped 0.20%, ending the day at 12.545 euros, the lowest closing value since July 2020.
