Find out which are the five cheapest and five most expensive gas stations in Portugal

Every week, Contas-poupança publishes fuel prices for the following week, in addition to also sharing the efficient price established by ERSE. The intention is always the same: to help you save as much as possible. In this sense, Contas-poupança will start publishing, every Thursday, the ranking of the five cheapest gas stations in the country and the five most expensive.

These lists no longer include stations located on motorways, as fuel is always considerably more expensive in these locations. Still, for reference, this week the A1 is the highway with the most expensive fuel, dominated by CEPSA in Leiria, followed by GALP in Aveiras and Pombal and, finally, BP in Santarém and Mealhada. At these stations, the price of gasoline is €1,979/L and diesel is €1,784/L.

For now, find out which are the five Portuguese stations with the cheapest fuel on the remaining roads.

Conversely, the following are the five stations in the country where simple 95 gasoline and simple diesel are most expensive, excluding motorways.

This is a top five of the gas stations with the cheapest and most expensive fuel in the entire country, so you may not find any station on the list that is close to your home. If you want to find out which are the cheapest places to fill up near where you live, on the website of the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG), you can search by type of fuel, by district and by municipality on this page.
