It did not reach the established minimum value of 4.865 million euros.

Placed on E-Auctions on March 27th, the online auction for the land where Boavista’s training fields are located, attached to the Bessa Stadium, in Porto, ended this Tuesday, May 7th.

With a base value of 5,723,400 euros, the auction ended at 10 am with the last bid set at 3.3 million euros, below the stipulated minimum of 4,864,890 euros.

With an area of more than 22.5 thousand square meters, the land that was up for auction, due to old debts of the I League football club, also involved other sports equipment and an underground public parking lot.

“This is yet another situation that the current management inherited from the past. It is a debt owed to a banking institution that dates back to the time of the construction of the Bessa Stadium. As in so many other situations that have already been resolved, this will be another dossier that the management will resolve as soon as possible”, reacted the “chess players”, in a statement, when these assets were placed on E-Auctions.

However, Vítor Murta, who left the presidency of Boavista’s SAD, continues to lead the club.

Murta’s successor in leadership of the “checkered” company should be known from 6:30 pm this Tuesday, at Estádio do Bessa, as part of the general shareholders’ meeting, which will elect the corporate bodies for the 2024-2026 term of office. .
