Still, Millie Bobby explained how she was asked to be engaged – a romantic moment that took place during a dive, at the bottom of the sea… and that could have ended in tragedy!
All because, at the moment Jake Bongiovi showed off his engagement ring, the jewel ended up falling off the actress’ finger, heading towards the bottom of the sea. The young man was forced to do a risky maneuver that could have cost him his life.
During the conversation with the North American presenter, Millie said: “We both love diving, we got our licenses together. One day we were on vacation, and he told me that we had to wake up early the next day to go diving.“.
“We were going to the same place as always, and I even suggested another one. He said: ‘We have to do it here, in the usual place’. When we dived, and already at the bottom, he gave me a shell. Inside was the ring“, continued.
After a moment of confusion, panic came: “He put the ring on his finger, but as I was showing it to him, it fell off. He fell and was soon going to the bottom very quickly“.
