Felipe and Letizia stroll through Madrid and visit a bookstore

It was last Saturday, March 23, that Felipe and Letizia enjoyed a walk through a traditional area of ​​Madrid, during which they visited a bookstore. The couple walked through the streets that go from Plaza de Tirso de Molina to Antón Martín, looking quite relaxed.

For the outing, the couple dressed very casually. Letizia wore a white and black striped sweater, jeans blue shoes and white sneakers, and she had a beige coat in her hand. On the other hand, Felipe wore a dark coat and sneakers, as well as some jeans the same tone as the woman’s.

An amateur photograph, taken by a person who was on the street as they passed by, shows them from behind, near a bar located in front of the Apolo theater. Later, it is known that they visited the famous Librería del Doré.

In conversation with Hola!, one of the establishment’s employees revealed some details about the kings’ visit, which took place at “eight thirty at night“. According to the employee, the couple greeted him very kindly, before looking at some of the books on the shelves. Shortly afterwards, they left the store without purchasing any items.

Despite this quick visit, Felipe and Letizia did not give up the presence of their security team. According to the bookstore employee, “there was someone waiting for them at the door“. Despite being surprised by the visit of the monarchs, the same official highlights: “We already know the interest that the queen has in the world of cinema“.

It should be noted that this establishment is located in the emblematic Cine Doré and is, precisely, specialized in the seventh art. The bookstore reopened in 2022, after a period of renovation that lasted more than five years.
