Actress and former model Leticia Birkheuer denounced her ex-husband for aggression and reported, last Sunday, the 31st, the difficult moment she experienced. She said that she was attacked and threatened in a restaurant in the presence of her son. Leticia, who was married to businessman Alexandre Furmanovich between 2011 and 2013, had already vented insults and criticized him for the way she manages her son’s education. Furthermore, she and her ex had a legal battle when they separated.

The 45-year-old artist recorded a video lamenting that her son, João Guilherme, just 12 years old, had witnessed the entire situation. Leticia said that despite it being a bad and sad time, she needed to speak out to encourage other women to report their attackers.

“At this moment, out of respect for the thousands of women victims of domestic violence, I need to make this report. No woman should be attacked, raped or threatened. I was attacked during my marriage. More than 10 years after being separated, I was seriously threatened, unfair, inside a restaurant. Violence against us women doesn’t stop. My ex-husband, father of my son, shouted, in a restaurant, that the only reason he wouldn’t break my face was because I was in the presence of him, our son, a child “, said the actress in her outburst (watch the video below).

The actress also said that she feels insecure, and that her ex thinks he is very powerful, but that he will not lower his head. This is not the first time she has spoken about offenses and threats. In 2022, the former model stated that the two had differences and criticized how Alexandre led his son’s education. According to Leticia, the ex raised the boy without any rules. At the time, the actress vented about the insults. “In the past, offending, denigrating and threatening women was normal. Today it’s a police matter. I kept quiet to protect my son, but today I won’t keep quiet anymore,” she wrote at the time, without mentioning her ex’s name.

According to Leticia, there are videos and witnesses of the moment her ex-husband threatened her in the restaurant, and that she has a protective measure under the Maria da Penha Law in her favor.

“I was psychologically attacked. Threatened. Frightened. He tried and is trying to destroy me. There are witnesses. There are videos. There is a second precautionary measure from the Maria da Penha Law in my favor. None of this stopped him. I feel insecure, vulnerable, the father My son is a businessman in the jewelry sector, owner of a jewelry store, and he feels very powerful. But I can’t lower my head. I sought strength and courage in my mother, my aunts, my grandmothers, my friends. All women fiber”.

This is not the first disagreement between the two that needs intervention. In 2015, they ended up fighting a legal battle, after the actress opened a work case against the businessman, alleging that she stopped earning her own money during the years they were married. Leticia filed a labor lawsuit for R$800,000, in an attempt to recover what, according to her, she had failed to earn when she decided to give up her career to dedicate herself to marriage and to publicize his company’s jewelry.

Before becoming an actress, Leticia had a modeling career. She modeled for several international brands and was one of the stars of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. On screen, she acted in the soap operas “Belíssima” (2005), “Desejo Proibido” (2007), “Cama de Gato” (2010), “Império” (2014) and “Malhação Seu Lugar no Mundo” (2015), among others.
