B‘It Came from Outer Space’ and ‘Peyton Place’ actress Barbara Rush has died. She was 97 years old.
The death was confirmed by his daughter, Fox News Channel correspondent Claudia Cowan.
“My wonderful mother died peacefully at 5:28 this afternoon. I was with her this morning and I know she waited for me to come home before leaving,” he revealed, noting that the death occurred on Sunday, March 31.
“It’s clear that he chose to leave at Easter, as it was one of his favorite holidays and of course, from now on Easter will have a deeper meaning for me and my family”, he added.
The actress, whose career spanned more than seven decades, shone on stage, television and cinema. She even starred alongside names like Paul Newman, Rock Hudson, Dean Martin, Marlon Brando, Frank Sinatra and Richard Burton.
The circumstances of death were not revealed.
